Brakes

Brakes are a critical safety feature for both our Formula and Baja vehicles. Brakes allow our cars to slow down, prevent accidents, and hold a stationary position when needed by utilizing friction for control. Though it may appear like a minor part, brakes play a pivotal role in the success of our driver and competitive performance.

What We Do

Both our Formula and Baja brake teams are in charge of designing, building, and testing the brake systems of their respective vehicles. In accordance with SAE regulations, our vehicles are designed with two independent brake circuits to enhance safety and reliability. Our team continually improves its design by performing hydraulic calculations, analyzing data from previous years, and utilizing simulation methods such as Finite Element Analysis.
